Lorin Noorda is a Paramedic Firefighter for the Las Vegas Fire Department. He is also a champion desert racer with races such as the Mint 400 and Vegas to Reno. One day while racing Lorin was hit, his leg was shattered, and he was sent on a helicopter to University Medical Center in Las Vegas. It was there that they would determine whether or not he would keep his leg. Within a couple of years, Lorin showed his resilience by competing in and completing the longest single cycling race in North America. This is a story of faith, family, doing work your are passionate about, and most of all, being resilient and bouncing back from almost anything! As you listen to Lorin’s story, you will find the motivation to take on just about any challenge that you are having. If you don’t have complete confidence in yourself, you can borrow some from Lorin and from his story!
